Reikės:
200g cavaletti (kaip nuotraukoje), trofie, spaghetti tipo makaronų,
25g šviežių bazilikų (didelis ryšulėlis),50ml tyro alyvų aliejaus (rekomenduojama itin aukštos kokybės),
3 v.š. (apie 30g) tarkuoto parmezano sūrio,
1 skilt. česnako,
1/2 v.š. kedro riešutų (galima keisti 1 graikinio riešuto branduoliu),
šiek tiek rupios druskos.
Paruošimas: Bazilikus gerai nuplaukite, palikite kad nudžiūtų. Juos grūskite grūstuvėje (geriausia), arba susmulkinkite elektriniu maisto smulkintuvu. Patartina grūsti ne visus bazilikus iš karto, bet po truputį (bus daug paprasčiau). Sudėkite šiek tiek pasmulkintą česnaką ir trupinėlį druskos, vėl gerai sugūskite, kol išsiskirs daug žalių sulčių, tada sudėkite riešutus, pratęskite darbą, galiausiai sudėkite sūrį ir alyvų aliejų, maišykite kol gausite kreminės konsistencijos padažą.
Makaronus išvirkite "al dente" (past. kad būtų kramtomi ir nepervirę), juos nusunkite, sudėkite atgal į puodą, ant išvirusių makaronų sukrėskite pesto padažą ir gerai sumaišykite. Skubiai patiekite, viršų apibarstę norimu kiekiu tarkuoto parmezo sūrio (jei norite papildomai). Skanaus!

Prepare pesto sauce. Wash good the fresh basil, dry it. Crush the basil in a mortar (preferably) or in a electric mixer. It is advisable to crush the basil not all at once, but adding bit by bit (it will be much easier). Add the garlic and some salt, crush again until the basil will have released a lot of green juice. Then add the nuts and continue the work ultimately. Stir in the cheese and the olive oil, stir until you get a creamy sauce consistency.
Prepare pasta. Boil macaroni "al dente" (do not overcook), strain off the water, returned boiled macaroni into pot, add some pesto sauce and mix well. Serve promptly. You can serve with some more grated Parmesan cheese on the top (optional). Bon appetite!
